We are proud to tell you that MediaFront is deliverd as a 100% Open Source media platform governed by the GNU General Public License version 3 (GPLv3). This license not only protects the rights of the code developers but also protects the rights of the people using and modifying that code. The GPLv3 gives users the rights to use the software as they see fit and gives developers full access to modify the code, making for a stronger community involvment and a stronger product. As quoted from the quick guide to GPLv3 from gnu.org:

"Nobody should be restricted by the software they use. There are four freedoms that every user should have:

• the freedom to use the software for any purpose,
• the freedom to change the software to suit your needs,
• the freedom to share the software with your friends and neighbors, and
